New “Sea Czar” hints at movement on Salton Sea problem
In a live newsmaker segment on CBS Local 2, newly appointed assistant secretary on Salton Sea policy Bruce Wilcox told anchor Brooke Beare new policy directive on California’s dying Salton Sea should be unveiled at a public meeting later this month. Wilcox will work for the California Natural Resources Agency, formerly serving as the environmental manager for Imperial Irrigation District.
