Skateboard champ to headline Festival of Lights Parade

Legendary skateboard champion Tony Hawk will roll his way down Palm Canyon Drive in December. He’ll be the community Grand Marshal for this year’s 24th annual Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade.

More than 100,000 people are expected to line the street for the parade Saturday, December 5th at 5:45 p.m..

The parade begins at Palm Canyon and Ramon Road.

Hawk will be in town that weekend for the 2nd annual El Gato Skate Park competition.

Parade entries are still being accepted until Friday, October 23rd.
