UPDATE: All power restored in Palm Desert

All power is back on this morning in Palm Desert after thousands of people were in the dark for a couple hours. Southern California Edison reported a power outage shortly before 3:00 a.m. The utility company 6200 customers were without power at one point.

No word on what caused the outage.
