Two arrested after pursuit in La Quinta
A man and a woman are under arrest after a short police pursuit Wednesday afternoon in La Quinta.
Shortly before 4:00 p.m., sheriff’s deputies tried to pull-over a driver at Highway 111 and Adams Street because the car was reported stolen.
Police ended the pursuit about 4:15 p.m. and the car was later found in Indio.
The man and woman were arrested there.
No word yet on their identities and what charges they may face.
