Motorcyclist dies in Rancho Mirage crash
A man died Saturday in Rancho Mirage when he hit a curb and was ejected from his motorcycle, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Dept.
It happened on Highway 111 near Evening Star Drive and Thunderbird Cove around 5:30 p.m. The motorcyclist died at the scene.
Southeast lanes of Highway 111 are blocked and traffic is being diverted as deputies investigate the crash.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Dept. has not released the man’s name until his family is notified.
