Semi into guardrail shuts down westbound I-10 east of Coachella
Traffic was beginning to slowly move again past a big rig truck that collided with a guardrail Thursday morning east of the Coachella Valley.
The California Highway Patrol said one westbound freeway lane was reopened at 6:42 a.m. following a collision which initially blocked both westbound freeway lanes.
The crash was reported at 5:46 a.m. between Red Cloud Mine Road and Desert Center.
No injuries were reported.
Eastbound freeway traffic was not impacted.
