CCPD investigates hit & run crash involving child
The Cathedral City Police Department is investigating a hit and run after a child was struck by an SUV Wednesday afternoon on Ramon Road and Landau Boulevard. The collision happened at about 4:20 p.m.
Lt. Haas with CCPD said the child sustained minor injuries in the collision and the vehicle in question was described as a dark-colored SUV.
Two lanes were briefly blocked off to traffic but have since reopened.
