Early voting to begin in Riverside County

Riverside County voters will have a chance to cast ballots early this weekend, before the November 8 election day.

Early voting is now available at the registrar’s office and at malls in Palm Desert, Riverside and Temecula.

Temporary polling locations are set up at the Westfield Palm Desert shopping center, in the main court in front of World Gym.

It’s also available at the Promenade in Temecula outside the Macy’s Women’s Store, and at the Galleria at Tyler in Riverside outside Nordstrom’s.

The early voting is available Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Voters can also cast ballots up until Election Day at the Registrar of Voters office in Riverside, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday (10/29) and on Nov. 5, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The registrar’s office is at 2724 Gateway Drive in Riverside.

It will also be open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Registered voters may attend any of the early voting sites to either drop off a vote-by-mail ballot or vote on an accessible voting unit.

The Registrars Office says voters are encouraged to cast ballots as soon as possible so they can be included in the first Election Night results. Those are expected to be posted shortly after 8 p.m. on Nov. 8.
