2 cars catch fire in Thousand Palms
Two cars that were inside a garage in Thousand Palms caught fire Tuesday afternoon.
Cal Fire said the fire sparked at a home on Conchita Way at about 2:30 p.m. The home is located south of Ramon Road.
Our crew at the scene said the two cars caught fire and the flames also caused some damage to the unattached garage. Black smoke filled the sky Tuesday afternoon. There was no word on injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
