Yucaipa man accused of child sex

Yucaipa police arrested a 19-year old man accused of committing lewd sexual acts with two minors.

Police were called to a residence Wednesday morning after a father arrived home to find 19-year old Christopher Sanchez allegedly engaged in lewd sexual acts with his 16-year old daughter. Sanchez escaped before police arrived.

A short time later, Sanchez was being driven back to the house of the 16-year old by a friend. As they were driving, Sanchez saw that police were still at the home and jumped out of the moving vehicle, landing on the roadway.

Sanchez was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Care with minor injuries.

While investigating the incident, detectives say they learned Sanchez had engaged in lewd sexual acts with a 14-year old just days earlier.

Sanchez was arrested and held in lieu of a $100,000 bail. He’s accused of oral copulation with a minor, digital penetration of a minor and unlawful sexual intercourse.

Detectives believe there may be additional victims who have engaged in lewd sexual acts with Sanchez. They are encouraging any additional victims to come forward and contact Yucaipa Police Detectives.
