More details on car theft that sparked Amber Alert in Cathedral CIty
UPDATE: Cathedral City Police said two missing children were found safe in Desert Hot Springs at 2:40 a.m. Friday, still inside a vehicle stolen Thursday night.

The search continues for the car that was stolen outside a Cathedral City home, with two young boys inside.
Police have now released more details on the car and children.
Two brothers, ages 1 & 2, were abducted when the car was stolen.
The car is a 2016 four-door, white Honda Accord, with all of its windows tinted.The car has a California license Plate numbered 7TJR654. It was stolen from the 31000 block of Whispering Palms in Cathedral City.
Cathedral City police released a recent picture of the stolen vehicle.
The owner of the car is a babysitter who stepped out of the car for a short time. When the babysitter returned, the car was gone.
An Amber Alert is issued for the two children.
Jayden Cortez is a 1-year-old Hispanic male, 1 foot 5 inches tall, weighing 30 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing a white shirt and blue shorts.
The second victim, Carlos Cortez, is a 2-year-old Hispanic male, 2 feet tall, weighing 40 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, wearing unknown clothing.
The suspect is unknown. Police ask anyone who sees the vehicle to call 911 immediately.
