Cathedral City couple complains about “booming” sounds coming from health club next door

A couple living in the Cathedral Canyon Country Club says they have been complaining for months to the city, about loud “booming” sounds caused by weight lifters dropping weights at the In-Shape health club next door.

Nick and Erin Stone say the noise and vibrations wake them late at night and early in the morning.

CBS Local 2 Stands for You, so Tom Tucker looked into the couple’s concerns, contacting both the city, and In-Shape health club.

In-Shape did not respond to our repeated calls, but the city’s Community Development Director did respond.
