Agua Caliente Resort Spa & Casino hosts speed hiring event
A one-day speed hiring event was held at Agua Caliente Casino Resort and Spa Thursday afternoon.
Prospective applicants flooded the resort to interview for positions at the Rancho Mirage location and at its sister property Spa Resort Casino in Downtown Palm Springs
Many applicants were hired on the spot today, filling positions in the areas of casino operations, customer service, food and beverage, information technology, marketing, and security.
“I would highly recommend it, it’s a good opportunity, it’s not that hard, you just fill out where you worked, your current position and what you’re applying for,” said Elizabeth Garcia, an applicant at the event.
If you missed Thursday’s hiring event, no worries, there will be a job fair tomorrow for the soon to be opening Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs hotel.

The hotel is seeking to fill about 150 available jobs, including guest service agent, conference service manager, director of housekeeping, general maintenance engineer, lead bartender, Assistant F & B director, pastry chef, sous chef and more.
Candidates who attend the job fair are encouraged to bring a resume.
Friday’s job fair will last from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and will take place at the Palm Springs Convention Center’s Primrose Ballroom.
If you can’t make Friday’s job fair, will have two other opportunities to apply next month. There are fairs scheduled on August 21 and August 31.
