Redlands pair charged in Palm Desert storage facilities burglaries

A man and woman who allegedly burglarized a Palm Desert storage facility were charged Friday with burglary, possession of controlled substances and other crimes.

Redlands residents Marcos Iglesias, 44, and Allie Tilghman, 26, are accused of breaking into two units at Life Storage, 40050 Harris Lane, on Sept. 20 and Sept. 24, according to the criminal complaint.

Stolen property and “evidence related to the commercial burglaries” was found Tuesday when the pair were arrested at a home in the 32000 block of San Timoteo Road, and deputies also found a 12-gauge shotgun and methamphetamine, according to the complaint.

Iglesias and Tilghman were both booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning.

They were slated for arraignment this afternoon on multiple counts each of burglary, receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm and possession of controlled substances.
