Trick-or-treaters enjoy Halloween in La Quinta

Thousands of children across the Coachella Valley enjoyed trick-or-treating Tuesday evening.

KESQ and CBS Local 2 reporter Joe Galli watched hundred of parents and children descend on a neighborhood in La Quinta near Adams Street and Fred Warring Drive.

Many parents had their kids wear glow sticks and carry flashlights to make sure they can be seen at night. Some homeowners spent hundreds of dollars decorating their homes for the holiday.

“We live in a really good neighborhood and a lot of people set up their houses. It’s fun here, we probably get 300 trick-or-treaters,” said Dan Bartlett, who had a hologram witch as part of the decorations for his home.
