Three children removed, father arrested after found living in filth

A Yucca Valley man was arrested and had his three children removed Tuesday after deputies said they found his home filled with animal feces and urine.

During a welfare check in the 58000 block of Carlyle Dr. in Yucca Valley, deputies from the Morongo Basin Station found a house occupied by 33-year-old William Lionel Pincott and his three minor children: two boys, ages 2 and 8 and a 4-year-old girl.

Deputies found an overwhelming amount of animal feces and urine inside, as well as eight dogs and two ferrets.

According to deputies, the home had minimal food, and several safety issues were found that they said posed serious threats to the children living in the home.

A Yucca Valley Animal Control officer responded to the residence and took custody of the animals.

Children and Family Services also responded to the residence and removed the children from the home.

Based on the living conditions inside the residence, Pincott was arrested for felony child abuse and neglect.
