Hiker rescued from Palm Springs trail

Crews conducted a hiker rescue Thursday morning after a woman was stranded on the Lykken Trail in Palm Springs.

According to the Palm Springs Police Department, they received a report of a missing hiker shortly before 8 a.m. and responded to the scene near Via Monta Vista and Crescent Drive.

Palm Springs fire and rescue crews arrived at the location and they found that the woman was dehydrated on the trail.

The woman, described to be in her 50s, was given fluids and crews helped her walk down the trail.

The scene was cleared at 10:25 a.m.
