Palm Springs to hold “community conversation” forum

City leaders in Palm Springs will hold an informal community forum Wednesday, giving residents an opportunity to speak with members of city government.

The 6 p.m. forum at the Palm Springs Convention Center will take place prior to the city council’s regular meeting.

The forum will be conducted by councilmembers Geoff Kors and J.R. Roberts, but will also include City Manager David Ready and heads from all city departments, who will be on hand to answer questions and address concerns from residents.

According to city officials, the “Community Conversation” forum, which is free and open to the public, could be used to guide the newly elected city council’s “goal setting and strategic planning.”

The forum will run until 8 p.m.
