Cathedral City set for Snow-Fest

A winter wonderland is coming to downtown Cathedral City next week.

Snow-Fest, a free festival sponsored by the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, will be packed with fun for the whole family. Event organizers said the city’s Town Square Park will be filled with snow white bubbles.

Where: Town Square Park, 68-700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero, Cathedral City, CA 92234

When: Dec. 9

Time: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Holiday Light Parade will pass through the festival starting at 5:30 p.m.

Attendees can also expect a variety of holiday entertainment, with performances from the Palm Spring’s Gay Men’s Chorus, the Cathedral City High School Choir, Ballet Folklorico dancers and the Cathedral City Dance Program.

All funds collected at the event will benefit SafeHouse of the Desert.
