Two vehicle collision slows traffic in Palm Desert

A non-injury collision was slowing traffic on Interstate 10 in Palm Desert Friday morning.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision at 6:50 a.m. in the freeway’s westbound lanes just east of Cook Street.

Traffic was backing up more than 2 miles past Washington Street, but was cleared and back up to speed by 8:15 a.m.

Eastbound lanes were not impacted by the non-injury collision.
