Riverside teen admits to molesting 50+ children

A Riverside teenager is police custody after his mother wanted to turn him in for suspected molestation.

According to the Riverside Police Department the mother of 18-year -old Joseph Boston flagged down a sergeant Saturday December 2nd, around 3:00 a.m.

Police say Boston called his mother telling her that he had molested two young children earlier. She drove to her son’s location and took him to the police station where he later confessed the acts to officers.

The teenager had recently been staying at a hotel on the 9800 block of Magnolia Avenue in Riverside.

It was there he befriended two boys, ages 8 and 4, who were also staying at this motel with their parents.

The children were allowed to go into the suspect’s room, where the alleged molestation occurred. Hours later, police say, Boston called his own mother stating what he had just done.
