3 arrested for burglary in the high desert

Three Twentynine Palms residents were arrested over the weekend for their alleged role in a burglary in the high desert.

On Dec. 2, shortly after 8:40 p.m., a deputy with the Morongo Basin Station investigated a burglary in progress at the 6200 block of Godwin Road in the community of Wonder Valley, just east of Twentynine Palms.

When deputies arrived, they discovered three suspects who broke into a Conex box.

The suspects were identified as 32-year-old Denise Singer, 48-year-old Don Howard III and 28-year-old Olivia Leclerc.

The investigation revealed stolen property from the Conex box was inside a vehicle the three were occupying.

Leclerc, Howard III and Denise Singer were arrested and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail for violation of burglary in lieu of $25,000 bail.
