Identity theft investigation leads to two arrests in Twentynine Palms

A man and woman were arrested last week for alleged identity theft crimes in Twentynine Palms.

On Nov. 30, around 8:30 p.m., a deputy from the Morongo Basin Station investigated an identity theft report at the 72000 block of Sunnyslope Drive in Twentynine Palms.

The deputy identified 38-year-old Allen Stomer and 48-year-old Diana Rodriguez in possession of several credit and debit cards, along with personal information to victims in Yucca Valley and Twentynine Palms.

Stomer, also had a fugitive at large warrant out of Missouri and misdemeanor warrants out of San Bernardino County.

Stomer and Rodriguez were arrested and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail for Identity theft on $50,000 bail.
