Mother of missing man handing out flyers to spread the word

The mother of a missing Valley man is looking for help from the public.

28-year old Jonathan Reynoso and 26-year old Audrey Moran were last seen more than a week ago. The mother of a missing valley man is looking for help tonight from the public.

The mother of Jonathan Reynoso, Mayra Torres, and a group of people were handing out flyers to drivers and hikers by the San Rosa-San Jacinto mountains National Monument today.

They were placed on vehicles and handed to visitors. Torres says she would like people to put the flyer on the passenger door side of the vehicle, that way it will act as a moving flyer when it’s on the road.

“The whole purpose is to get this flyer moving, where ever it is you know. You never know if they spot that they were at was there just a few minutes ago. It doesn’t have to be in California…it could be anywhere,” Torres said.

We’ve learned from some of Reynoso’s closest friends that he also goes by the name “Jon Darling”, and is a Cathedral City High School graduate.

Torres and her family canvassed the area of Highway 74 today with flyers all throughout the inland empire. It’s all due to possible sighting in the areas of Murrieta and Temecula.

No contact has been made with the missing couple since last Wednesday. The car they were in was found abandoned in Beaumont.

Indio police are actively working on the investigation. If you have any information, you’re asked to call Indio police.
