Earthquake shakes area near Anza

A 3.5 magnitude earthquake on Saturday shook the area near Cahuilla, according to the U.S. National Geological Survey.

The temblor occurred at 12:45 p.m. at a depth of 3.1 miles, the agency said. Its epicenter was about six miles southwest of Anza and 19 miles south of Hemet.

There were no reports of injuries.
