Lost cat to be reunited with owner

One lucky pet owner from Georgia is getting an early Christmas miracle, after their cat — missing since July 4 — was found in Riverside County.

A driver of a soda truck found the cat earlier this week inside the vehicle, which carried the feline from Georgia to Riverside. The driver contacted the Western Riverside County/City Animal Shelter in Jurupa Valley where the cat was taken in.

The cat, named Kitty Bitty was dehydrated, but veterinary staff cared for the little guy.

Shelter officials contacted Kitty Bitty’s owners and made arrangements to fly him home for Christmas.
