Palm Springs announces drawing for PSIFF gala tickets

The city of Palm Springs announced a drawing offering tickets to the Palm Springs International Film Festival’s Awards Gala for five Palm Springs residents.

Winners will get a chance to walk the red carpet at the festival’s gala, set for Jan. 2 at the Palm Springs Convention Center. Celebrities slated to accept awards at the event include Holly Hunter, Jessica Chastain, Allison Janney, Saoirse Ronan, Mary J. Blige, Timothee Chalamet, Gal Gadot, Gary Oldman, Sam Rockwell and the cast and crew of “The Shape of Water.”

Palm Springs residents must apply no later than 4 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21.

Winners will be allowed to bring one guest. Black tie attire at the gala is required, along with proof of residency in the city of Palm Springs.

The 29th annual festival runs from Jan. 2-15.
