Babe’s Bar-B-Que named small business of the year

Babe’s Bar-B-Que and Brewhouse at the River in Rancho Mirage named small business of the year.

Senator Jeff Stone (R) presented the business with the distinguished honor Tuesday evening. Stone says businesses like Babe’s are the backbone of the economy.

“It feels incredible with 15 years here at the River. Wow what an honor,” said Jason St. John, general manager of Babe’s. “For Senator Jeff Stone to come down to see us and give us this proclamation, we feel very honored.”

Babe’s has also been named large business of the year by the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce and were named brewery of the year at the 2015 California State Fair.
