Man hospitalized after hit-and-run in Palm Desert
A man has been hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle in Palm Desert Tuesday evening.
The accident happened at the intersection of San Gorgonio Way and San Pablo Avenue at around 5:45 pm.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the man was crossing the intersection when he was hit by a dark-colored, possible minivan that ran a stop sign. The vehicle fled before officers arrived.
The vehicle can be further identified by the passenger side door which is a lighter shade, according to the Sheriff’s department.
The man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
