Lanes reopened in Palm Springs after person hit by vehicle

ORIGINAL STORY:
A person was hit by a vehicle in Palm Springs Tuesday night.
The accident happened near the intersection of S Palm Canyon Drive and E Palo Verde at around 10:30 pm.
Southbound lanes in Palm Canyon is closed at Mesquite for an unknown amount of time.
No word on injuries at this time. We have crew on scene gathering information.
