Local singer fighting for his life following crash

The lead singer of a local band is now partially blind, with a long road to recovery ahead for him following a crash in Thermal on December 19.

Daniel Cedano is fighting for his life in a San Diego hospital. The father of a young boy is currently sedated after losing his eye and having multiples surgeries to fix a severe skull fracture and relieve pressure in his brain.

“He’s fighting. We know he’s fighting. It’s a big impact and I know it’s going to be hard for him as well. We’re all here for him and we’re going to continue to be, and we’ve seen so much support from the valley, his friends, his music, everything,” said Nathalia Cedano, Daniel’s sister-in-law.
