Guy Fieri brings ‘mind-blowing’ BBQ experience to Stagecoach
Keith Urban, Garth Brooks, and Florida Georgia Line fill out the marquee music-wise for Indio’s 12th annual Stagecoach festival, but a certain chef from a little place called Flavortown will be the main gastronomical attraction. Celebrity chef Guy Fieri will be taking to the Empire Polo Grounds to curate a “mind-blowing BBQ experience” from April 27-29 for this year’s festival.
“Guy Fieri is bringing the 40,000 square-foot Stagecoach Smokehouse experience…to serve up mouth-watering BBQ from all over the nation with styles from Cali to Kansas to the Carolinas,” reads the Goldenvoice news release. “Stop by during the festival from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. to sample some of his favorite smoky eats. You might even catch a glimpse of Guy himself as he pops in to lend a hand!”
The festival is going all in on its barbecuing efforts, pairing Fieri’s own setup with “the best of the best BBQ restaurants” in Los Angeles. Barrell & Ashes, Baby Blues BBQ, Bludso’s, Dad’s Chillin & Grillin When Pigs Fly are just a few of the names filling out the rest of the smoky setlist.
“Chef, restaurateur, New York Times bestselling author, and Emmy Award-winning TV host Guy Fieri is bringing the nation’s finest BBQ pit bosses to the biggest country music event ever staged,” reads the release. “Passes to the BBQ lover’s dream country music festival are on sale now.”
