Cathedral City man arrested for child molestation
Thursday afternoon, Palm Desert Police Department officers were called to a report of a past child molestation that occurred within the 36500 block of Monterey Avenue.
Palm Desert police officers arrested Ismael Gaspar, 35, Monday evening near the intersection of 30th Avenue and Landau Boulevard in Cathedral City.
Gaspar has been booked into Riverside County Jail in Indio for lewd and lascivious acts on a child under 14. He is being held on $55,000 bail and is expected to be in court this Thursday.
