One person dead after vehicle overturns into wall
One person is dead after a vehicle crashed into a wall near Desert Hot Springs.
A vehicle overturned into a wall near a home at the intersection of Dillon Rd and Desert Crest Avenue shortly before 10:40 p.m. in an unincorporated area of Desert Hot Springs, according to the California Highway Patrol.
According to a news release by Cal Fire, the driver was trapped in the vehicle and extricated before being pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities closed Dillon Road for approximately two hours.
No additional other injuries were reported in the crash. An investigation into the cause of the crash is currently underway.
