Hundreds pack Palm Springs Convention Center for free Christmas dinner

Holiday cheer was in the air as hundreds packed the Palm Springs Convention Center for a free Christmas dinner filled with fun activities for the whole family.

Doors were open to seniors, working and non-working families, those without homes, veterans families and anyone who just simply didn’t want to be alone on Christmas.

“I think this is a wonderful outreach. Because it shows that Palm Springs cares about the needs of the community and the needs of families that are less fortunate than others” said Karen Harper, an attendee today.

Along with a delicious warm Christmas meal, attendees enjoyed face painting, magic tricks, live music, free gifts, and photos with Santa.
