4 vehicle collision slowing I-10 traffic in Palm Desert

PALM DESERT, Calif. - The California Highway Patrol was working to clear up a traffic collision on Interstate 10 in Palm Desert just west of Washington Street Monday morning.

It was reported at 8:01 a.m. in the freeway's westbound lanes and was backing up traffic to east of Washington Street.

The CHP said the vehicles involved in the collision were on the freeway's right shoulder.

There was no immediate report of any injuries.
