Major injury car crash Sunday morning in Thermal

THERMAL, Calif. -

An early morning crash, Sunday in Thermal. This happening just before 12:30 a.m. involving two cars causing major injuries.

The crash happened on Grapefruit boulevard near Pierce street.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved a grey sedan and red truck.

The CHP says at least one person was taken to Desert Regional Hospital with major injuries.

It is unclear at this time how many people were hurt in the crash.
