One person seriously injured in I-10 freeway collision

One person was seriously injured in a collision on Interstate 10 in Palm Springs Sunday.

The crash was reported just before 5:00 p.m. along westbound Interstate 10 near Indian Canyon Drive.

The California Highway Patrol says a Ford Mustang and a Jeep were involved in the crash.

There was no immediate word on how the crash happened.
