Tis’ the season for Tamales
The festival is set to take place Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The two-day event expects at least 125,000 people to attend the celebration. Live Entertainment will be featured on six stages, including two Community Stages.
Admission is free to the public
According to the Festival, it has been ranked as one of the top ten "All-American Food Festivals" in the nation by Food Network-TV. The traditional competition for best tamale recipe will also be held.
There will also be a tamale eating contest for kids and adults.
Over 75 booths of award-winning tamales will be available to the public. Vegan, barbequed, specialty gourmet and traditional tamales will be available individually or by the dozen.
