New partnership between Martha’s Village and Borrego Health announced

A new partnership being announced Tuesday between Martha’s Village in Indio and Borrego Health.

Martha’s Village is already one of the largest providers of health services for those in need, especially in the East Valley. And now with this new partnership, the organization says they'll be expanding some of their services and offering them five days a week.

Currently, the clinic on site at Martha’s Village is known for offering general primary medical care, health screenings, family planning, immunizations, well child visits and nutrition and cardiology services.

The organization is going to be introducing the new full time medical provider at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday. That provider will be working exclusively on site at Martha’s Village and Kitchen.

Borrego Health is the second largest community health center network in the country and the largest network in the California.

Earlier this year, Coachella Mayor Steven Hernandez announced Borrego Health began building the first clinic to be built from the ground up in the city of Coachella.
