Winter storm brings rainy morning commute

Drivers experienced a soggy commute Thursday morning following Christmas.

A winter storm brought rain and even occasional flashes of lightning, as some took to the roads after the holiday.

CalTrans didn't report any early morning delays in the desert. As the rain continues throughout the day, officials advise to stay in the center lanes away from flooding that tends to accumulate at intersections and outside lanes. They also advise to take precaution due to lower visibility.
