PSPD releases photos of Little Caesars armed robbery suspects

The Palm Springs Police Department has released surveillance photos of three suspects wanted in connection with the weekend armed robbery of the Little Caesars Pizza in Palm Springs.

News Channel 3 first reported on this incident Tuesday.

At 9:45 p.m. on January 12, PSPD officers responded to the Little Caesars Pizza located at 1717 East Vista Chino for a report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, they learned that three armed suspected entered the business, demanded money, injured an employee, then fled the location with an undisclosed amount of currency.

The employee sustained a minor head injury, according to PSPD Sgt. Mike Casavan.

The following suspect descriptions were released:

  • Suspect #1 - 25-30-year-old Black male, 5'9", 160 lbs., wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes
  • Suspect #2 - 25-30-year-old Black male, 5'10", 160 lbs., wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, olive/tan hat, and black shoes
  • Suspect #3 - 25-30-year-old Hispanic male, 5'10", 160 lbs, wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, blue pants, a blue bandana, and white shoes.

The investigation is active and video surveillance is "pending", per PSPD.

"Anyone with information related to this investigation is encouraged to call the Palm Springs Police Department at 760-323-8129," reads the PSPD release. "Anonymous information can also be provided to Crime Stoppers at 760-341-7867."

The PSPD release makes reference to the robbery of a Little Caesars in Desert Hot Springs on October 17 and states that it is unclear if the two crimes are related.

News Channel 3 reported on the incident in Desert Hot Springs in October. The two suspects, who remain at large, are described as black males wearing hooded sweatshirts.

During the robbery of the Desert Hot Spring businesses, which is located near the intersection of Ironwood Drive and Palm Drive, a suspect reportedly fired a weapon. No injuries were reported in that incident.
