Coachella residents respond after deputies draw weapons on neighbor
Riverside County Sheriff deputies ordered a man out of a Coachella home before arresting him.
The suspect has been identified as 30 year old, Adolfo Diaz was arrested on probation violation.
“I am terrified that I know that people who are dangerous live close to home when I have two children," said woman.
A woman who grew up on the street who prefers to not be identified said she’s worried about the investigation happening inside the home.
Video captured on a neighbors cellphone shows 30 year-old, Adolfo Diaz, wearing a blue t-shirt and jeans with his arms raised walking out toward armed sheriff’s deputies who then arrested him for violation of probation.
Also, two women and one man were detained on the sidewalk.
Neighbors said they saw law enforcement cars circle the street before deputies got out of the cars.
Then about 25 minutes later, Diaz followed commands and came out of the home.
“I was alarmed when I got to my parents house that they arrested him." said woman.
The former resident whose parents still live on the street said three siblings live at the house where Diaz came out on the corner of Via Tepeyac and Calle Soledad.
“It did look suspicious when they were out there," said woman.
Others who live in the neighborhood who we spoke to off-camera said they’ve seen deputies respond to the home in the past.
“I’m glad they arrested him so we can feel more secure in the neighborhood because there are families here," said woman.
Some in the neighborhood said they’re on high alert after seeing the arrest.
“We’re are calm families that live here so its best if there is peace here.”
