Vietnam War veterans honored at Palm Springs Air Museum
Veterans of the Vietnam War were honored at a ceremony held at the Palm Springs Air Museum on Sunday.
The ceremony took place in a new hanger dedicated to the Vietnam War and the Korean War.
We are told 90 veterans from all branches were there. Veteran names, branch of service and military action were displayed on a screen as they were called up to receive a certificate and a pin.
“Whats important for us to never forget the service of our veterans especially the Vietnam veterans who laid it all on the line," said Jim Hawks, Navy Veteran, "58,000 didn’t come home."
The event was put on by the Daughters of the American Revolution of the Cahuilla Chapter.
