One southbound lane on Indian Canyon Drive closed at wash area
The Palm Springs Police Department announced the closure of the number two southbound lane of Indian Canyon Drive through the Whitewater wash Sunday evening due to flooding.
The lane is closed because of water on the road.
One other southbound lane remained open and the department was urging drivers to use extra caution when traveling on that stretch of roadway.
There was no word on when the lane would be re-opened.
