One man injured in Mecca stabbing attack

A man was recovering Monday morning after being stabbed overnight in Mecca.

The attack occurred along the 91000 block of Third Street near Hammond Road at 12:51 a.m.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department says the injured man was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

There was no information provided on the injured man's identity, and no suspects had yet been arrested.
