Police search for missing Palm Springs man

Palm Springs Police confirm they are searching for a missing 65-year old man who was last seen on Saturday afternoon May 2nd. Carl Brines' husband says Brines left his phone and wallet at home.
Brines is described as a 65-year old man, roughly 270 lbs, 6 feet tall, white hair and close cropped white beard. He is probably wearing something similar to gym shorts (with a draw string) and a tight T-shirt, Closed sandal-style shoes. He was last seen on the north side of Palm Springs near Via Escuela and Indian Canyon.
Palm Springs police say officers conducted area checks that night but had no indication of what direction Brines might have gone. "He is entered into the missing person system and agencies throughout California have been given the information," says Sgt. Casavan. "Our detectives have been in contact with the reporting party as recent as of May 8th."
His husband tells News Channel 3 Brines suffers from PTSD, borderline personality and severe depression. He has been off of his medications for over a week.
