“Enough is Enough” organizers, community leaders unite to plan safe protest

The group of eight teenagers who have been planning a peaceful protest in Palm Springs set for Saturday have come together with community leaders to plan a safe event.

News Channel 3 originally reported about the "Enough is Enough" rally last Friday. The girls, who go by the "Young Justice Advocates" on social media, have planned an agenda that includes multiple guest speakers.

Since first reported, the event location has been changed to Ruth Hardy Park. The organizers said it was due to the overwhelming response from the community. The park provides a safer and larger location to gather.

The organizers have also been working with the Palm Springs Police to ensure a safe and peaceful event. The Palm Springs Police Department released the following tweet, warning drivers to try to avoid the area during the event.
