House fire contained in Rancho Mirage off of Bluebird Avenue

Firefighters arrived at the scene of a house fire in Rancho Mirage at 36700 block of Bluebird Avenue at 5:08 a.m. Saturday morning.

Fire officials said that a single-story home caught fire with smoke and flames coming from the roof.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire around 6:37 a.m. Saturday morning

No word yet on if anyone was injured.
