Palm Desert holds college signing ceremony for seven student-athletes

Palm Desert high school held a signing ceremony to celebrate seven of their student-athletes on Wednesday.

In no particular order, the Aztecs showcased all seven of their outstanding student-athletes.

In wrestling, Beau Mantanona and cousin Erik McCown signed. Mantanona inked his college commitment to Michigan while McCown will wrestle at Cal Baptist.

In football, offensive lineman Bryce Boulton penned his way to Eugene where he will play for the Oregon Ducks.

In tennis, Eduardo Gonzales is going to UC-Davis.

In girls golf, Hailey Hays is headed to Biola.

In girls soccer, Ryann Van Horn signed to play at Pacific.

And in baseball, Whitfield Haydon is off to Hannibal-LaGrange.

Congratulations to all seven Aztec student-athletes, as well as their families, coaches and teachers.
